Installation Details
- Adhesive: Polyflor Geotone QuickLay PUR is designed for adhesive-free installation, with only Polyflor QuickLay PUR recommended double-sided tape required at seams, perimeters, across doorways, and in high-traffic or rolling load areas.
- Subfloor: The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth, and dust-free, with sheeting conditioned in the installation area for at least 48 hours at 18–27°C, and a maximum subfloor temperature of 27°C underfloor heating.
- Seams: Seams should be planned to avoid doorways and visually sensitive areas, with QuickLay sheet seams grooved and welded and reinforced with tape or tackifier where necessary.
- Maintenance: QuickLay floors can be trafficked immediately after installation. Early protection is advised if installed before other trades are complete (use proprietary protective covering). Follow Polysales Cleaning & Maintenance instructions for long-term care.

Supply and install 2.2mm x 2m Polyflor Geotone QuickLay PUR flexible PVC sheet flooring, installed with Polyflor QuickLay double-sided tape on a previously prepared Class 1 subfloor in accordance with SANS 10070, using a Polysales recommended self-leveller (if preferred) and moisture barrier (if preferred), including all cutting and waste, rolling the installed sheeting in both directions with a 68kg three-sectional roller immediately after it has been laid, joints must be butted, U-shape grooved and heat welded using Polyflor’s matching welding rod ensuring that the welding rod bonds to more than 2/3rds of the sheet in thickness, available from Polysales +27 11 609 3500.

Supply and install Polyflor Geotone QuickLay PUR flexible PVC sheet flooring in 2.2mm thickness, featuring a high quality, cross-linked polyurethane reinforcement to provide superior cleaning benefits, life cycle maintenance savings and optimum appearance retention, shall fully conform with the European Norm for heterogeneous flooring – EN 10582, in respect of flame spread, shall be certified as Class Bfl-S1 according to EN 13501-1, shall have been fully tested to ASTM F1303 by an independent test house and have a Class 1 rating, making it suitable for use in institutional, commercial and public buildings, the flooring must have been fully tested to the EN 13893 standard to achieve a R10 rating, the product must have been fully tested for abrasion resistance to EN 660-2 Abrasion Group T, shall possess a valid Agrément certificate when laid in accordance with the instructions of Polysales, with coved skirtings and welded joints, does not accumulate static charges above 2kV and is classified as ‘antistatic’ when tested to EN 1815, must be available in 2.0 metre width, to minimise the number of joints, must be suitable for Use Area Classification 34/42, as defined in EN ISO 10874 (EN 685), in respect of light fastness, the flooring shall have been fully tested to ISO 105-B02 Method 3 and obtain ≥6
