Overview
The total thickness of Polyflor Sport shall be made up of a surface wear layer, which shall be homogeneous and monolayer in construction, with a glassfibre reinforcement and closed cell foam layer.
Sport 67 is a hardwearing vinyl sports floor for use in ‘multi-purpose’ indoor sports arenas.
The product conforms to EN14904, the European standard for sports flooring, and meets all Sport England requirements.
BoQ Specification
Supply and install 6.7mm Polyflor Sport 67 flexible PVC sheet flooring, made up of a surface wear layer, which shall be homogeneous and monolayer in construction; glass fibre reinforcement and closed cell foam layer, manufactured in accordance with EN 13501-1 and installed with Polysales recommended adhesive which has been spread using an A2 notched trowel on a previously prepared Class 1 subfloor in accordance with SANS 10070, using a Polysales recommended self-leveller and moisture barrier when required, including all cutting and waste, rolling the installed sheeting in both directions with a 68kg three-sectional roller immediately after it has been laid into the adhesive, joints must be butted, U-shape grooved and heat welded using Polyflor’s matching welding rod ensuring that the welding rod bonds to more than 2/3rds of the sheet in thickness, available from Polysales +27 11 609 3500.

Comprehensive Specification
Supply and install flexible PVC sheet flooring in 6.7mm thickness, the total thickness shall be made up of a surface wear layer, which shall be homogeneous and monolayer in construction; glass fibre reinforcement and closed cell foam layer, the flooring material shall have been tested in accordance with European Standards as given below, in respect of flame spread, the flooring shall have been fully tested to EN 13501-1 and certified as having Class Cfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 >4.5kw/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass, with regard to EN 13893 for slip resistance, the flooring shall be classified DS, making it suitable for use in areas which are predominantly dry but with occasional spillages, the product must be classified abrasion group T, as defined in EN 660-2. This product does not accumulate static charges above 2kV and is classified as ‘antistatic’ when tested to EN 1815. For specialist applications where there is a requirement to dissipate the electrostatic charge, see the Polyflor ESD product ranges, the flooring must be available in 2.0 metre width, to minimise the number of joints., recommended for use in school and local authority sports halls, gymnasia and leisure centres and is a multi-use sports floor for football, netball, basketball, volleyball, tennis & badminton.
